Financial Management Technician

Bond Search and Selection is working with a Public Sector client seeking to recruit a Financial Management Technician.

This is a full time role on a 3 month contract basis with the possibilty of extension.

The succesful candidate will support the Financial Management Team in providing financial information and advice to service managers, clinicians and budget managers, enabling them to make most effective use of resources available to them.

You will ensure the integrity of the budgetary control system and produce timely, accurate and relevant monthly management accounting information to key budget holders. 

The Financial Management Technician will assist in the completion of the monthly Board financial reports and DHSSPS monitoring returns within agreed timetables.

Essential criteria:

4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent / higher qualification AND 1 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role OR 2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Word, or equivalent.

Experience in Microsoft Excel would be preferable

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in a finance or accounts assistant role.

Rate of pay: £8.49 per hour
