Senior Auditor

The Senior Auditor role will be responsible for effectively planning and performing audits as well capably evaluating audit/test results and providing Management with sound business recommendations to improve the overall control environment and/or improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting the outcomes of all performed audits to the VP of Audit Services in a timely and transparent manner.  This position will also be actively involved in the audit follow-up process to help ensure timely remediation of audit issues.  This position will interface with team members at all levels of the organization.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

  • Planning, Execution/Wrap-up of Internal Audits and SOX Testing, including, but not limited to:
    • Execution of audit steps and preparation/review of audit work papers
    • Identification of internal control weaknesses and practical recommendations for remediation
    • Drafting audit reports and presenting to and discussing with Management
  • Follow-up on remediation efforts
  • Assisting business units, where appropriate, in developing prioritized action plans to address control weaknesses
  • Special projects, as required

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or equivalent
  • 4-6 years’ experience, preferably including Big 4 public accounting (leading audits), manufacturing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of internal controls as well as ability to identify opportunities for improvement and offer practical solutions
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to focus on desired outcome
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work on teams comprised of internal and external resources
  • Business process improvement orientation

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • International experience a plus
  • Prior controllership experience
  • Experience with data analytics and related tools


  • English (written and verbal) required
  • Additional languages a plus


  • Must be willing and able to travel 50% - 60% of the time; including internationally as business dictates


Salary in the region of £50,000 + bonus + excellent benefits package
