Full time Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

£17,000 +

 

We are seeking an experienced senior administrator for our client, an established freight forwarding company based in Newry.  Due to their continued success, they seek an individual who will oversee all administrative duties for the managing director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a great career move to an ever-expanding international company. The role is initially for 9 months however has the potential to become permanent.

Job purpose

  • To provide administrative support to the Managing Director

  • Drafting letters, memos and notes

  • Participate in meetings including taking notes/minute taking

  • Screening and handling calls for the managing director

  • Faxing filing

  • Arranging Travel and accommodation for the Managing Director

 

Candidate criteria

Essential

  • At least 4 GCSE’s including Maths and English.

  • 2 years’ experience in an administrative or personal assistant role.

  • A high level of competency and well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

 

Desirable

  • Degree or third lever qualification.

  • Freight forwarding experience.
